Speaking to New York's WBLI while sitting in an airport lounge waiting for a flight, Demi Lovato revealed on Dana & Jeffrey in the Morning that she has an older half sister she never knew about until 2013. It is only known that she is in her 30s.[1] Demi's half sister's name is Amber Smith. Amber Smith didn't get in contact with Demi straight away as she didn't want Demi to think that she wanted stuff from her.
